You never quite know what you're going to read about as this is a collection of Mr. Clarkson's Sunday Times articles, but no matter the topic, you can always expect irreverent hilarity.It is low brow and sophisticated at the same time but unique in perspective and comedy gold.
He is even more irascible in print than on video. Clarkson is bright and a gifted wordsmith. Would be even more e enjoyable if I was better versed in British politics.

I bought this book for my husband as a present, because he's a fan of Top Gear (U.K.)... well, we both are.He enjoyed this book so much, we bought every other Jeremy Clarkson book, even the ones we had to order through Amazon's UK sellers.I've enjoyed the Clarkson books, too. They might be best appreciated by people who've watched Top Gear. Mr. Clarkson's humor is extremely sarcastic and hyperbolic. Once you get past the idea that, no, he's not serious about the extreme things he says, this book (and others by him) are hilariously funny.Some people will be offended. Mr. Clarkson isn't quite the polar opposite of "politically correct," but... well, he'd rank well if there were a competition for most outrageous comments.I'm not sure that I'd recommend it as a light read for absolutely everyone. However, if you're a Top Gear (U.K.) fan, books in this series are a lot of fun, and they give a lot more insights into the stars of that show.
Jeremy Clarkson is funny as hell in this, his third volume of "For Crying Out Loud" books. While a few of the British references were lost on me (as I'm an American) it was definitely worth buying for the hilarity that ensues. If only I could get his column, would definitely help my day go by better.
