Review
This book is a great reference ... . The role of the legal nurse consultant is clearly spelled out and is described in multiple settings. The sections on Administrative Health Care Law (especially Fraud and the Life Care Planner sections) are well written with adequate detail. The online references included with each chapter are very valuable. The section on Ambulatory Care is very good as well. The examples of patients in the ED are great. One of the best things about this book is the review of common allegations and the deposition transcripts. This really gives the students a feel for the process and what to expect. The glossary and guide to acronyms are also very helpful. ―Valerie Gooder, Weber State University
