This book was published in 2015, which makes it likely that important progress has been in longevity research since then. It would be useful if the author could comment on this issue.

Very informative and well written. Smart guy!

What an interesting book. The author explains complicated processes as though it is child's play. I finally understand how our body works at a cellular level and it all makes sense. This guy should be a teacher. If you are looking for a book about aging well (and everyone should be!) and aging without illness to enjoy the longest, healthiest life you can, this will help you get there. Thank you Dr. Verburgh.

Really gives a great overview of how our body work and ages. It cites a lot of studies and how some people live longer. I highly recommend this book and it has prompted me to change some of my eating habits.
