This Audio book was so bad I couldn't get past the 1st chapter, I skipped the BS in the forward already, The voice of the man narrating is EXTREMELY irritating to listen to and you feel like a child being spoken down to by an adult. Especially when he tries to change his voice going back and forth between subjects. UGHHH AWFUL presentation, FAR TOO WORDY getting points across, and A WASTE OF TIME!

I first read an older edition of this and struggled to see the application, but when I read the newer edition it started to make a lot more sense. I love his treatment of relationships as the heart of running a business or making sales.
Networking has gotten to be a catch phrase for going to meet-ups and collecting as many business cards as possible while talking about yourself and your business. In this book, you learn to turn this system upside down and serve others while staying true to your own gifts and talents. The system requires commitment but it is relatively simple and rewarding. Can't wait to put it into practice.
This book was referred to me and it has definitely given me a sense of direction that I needed.
