Glad I finally completed Vampire Knight my favorite Manga/Anime series out there!! It's just so wonderful!! I loved the ending because it was just so unique and different!! The ending was perfect in my opinion!! Definitely my favorite character was Kaname!! He's my favorite character and Anime Hubby for life!! This manga made me cry, laugh, and most of all happy!! This is the one of the best out there!! A lot of people hate the manga and anime but I just loved it!! This is one of the few series that got me back into the Anime world!! Along with Ouran Highschool Host Club!! Anyways one of the best!! I think the reason people hate this manga is because of the ending personally I loved the ending!! Because it was different... And not like all the other Shojo series out there!! Anyways Kaname is mine!! And the item was as described and I loved this series!! No damages at all!!
This box set is so beautiful! It came in a really nicely cushioned box, so nothing got damaged and I love the little art book that came with the mangas. It was everything I expected and more! Definitely worth getting if you love Vampire Knight!
I loved the anime and had to read the manga since that was obviously unfinished. I managed to find it online earlier but I decided to buy the real thing mainly (because I loved the author's artwork because she can draw beautifully, but also because I loved the story as well)I loved the melancholy feel, angst (which was completely understandable) especially for my favorite character is Zero ), and wistful beauty of the story. I admit I know it's probably only popular because it's a love story about vampires but I really love all the characters because when I feel like I'm living as the characters and these are the types of characters I can get invested in as "most" of their internal struggle are justified in this fantasy world.And Spoiler: The guy I love the most (I love the dark tortured brooding but with a hidden heart of gold- my "fantasy guy" because who needs a real guy when the ones in fiction are so much better) gets what he wanted and after all he's been through, he's the one that deserved it the most. I know the author got a lot of sh!.... for being so wishy-washy and trying to please everybody but I didn't mind because I feel like she really liked the other guy better honestly so I'm happy the other guy got the happy ending even if "he deserved better." I wanted him to get what he wanted and wish I could have seen more of him actually having happy times after all the hell he's been through.+ I sympathize with the main character, even though most girls clearly would be able to choose one over the other, she had a special connection with both of them, I could understand why it would be hard to choose.The characters are just played with a more realistic feel with their issues, unlike most manga/anime where characters can have horrible backstories and still be cheerful and not dwell on it and I didn't mind it.
The box set came in perfect condition. No dents, no scratches, and the shrink wrap was in tact. All the books were there and there was no doubles or misprints or anything like that. It even comes with a little book with some all color art pieces by the manga artist which was nice.As for the story and how it ended, I personally enjoyed it very much.
I'm a huge fan of Sailor Moon, and this is one of the first manga series I have absolutely been obsessed with since. The story, the relationships, the plots, the twists are amazing. The artwork itself is absolutely stunning. I will be keeping this on my bookshelf in the permanent collection :)
