This and all of the LSAT prep tests are essential if you want to study for the LSAT. Eventually, after every 10th test or so, LSAC makes available a one, 10-test volume which is more economical. Since preptest 83 was not yet available in the 10-test volume, it was worth it to buy it separately.
The kindle version splits and shifts questions and answer choices between pages, making reading through a particular problem a considerable burden. Further, by the very nature of it being a kindle ebook, there is no way of printing the test out. In short, I can see no positives to buying this in kindle format as opposed to its physical counterpart.

As of January 2018, this is the most recent PrepTest. The exam's changed a LOT since the early 1990s (see first book of 10), so it's *incredibly* important to get the most recent exams. If you're reading this in the next few years, you should probably do this one as a timed test a week or so before the exam.If you're taking the LSAT in the next couple years, this test won't be released in a book of 10 in time, so it's more expensive....BUT IT'S WORTH THE INVESTMENT. Spending just 10 bucks or less can pay off BIG TIME - where you get accepted, scholarship $, etc.Some PrepTest books you should probably get:72-8162-7152-6142-51 (if you have more than a few months to study)29-38 (if you have more than a few months to study)Wish you all the best!
