My dad wants to become a citizen, and this book was totally worth the purchase. It's actually quite succinct and no fluff learning. It says what could be asked, and then it provides the answers. This small book is delightful, and just what we needed.
I've often heard that a person who is a U.S. citizen by birth would not be able to pass the Citizenship Test. There is some truth to that. Judging by all the political upheaval at the moment, it would be a good Civics Lesson - oh wait! IS CIVICS EVEN TAUGHT ANY MORE IN THIS COUNTRY? We need to know where we came from and our history so we are not destined to repeat it. I found this a very interesting memory teaser - for young, adults and oldsters!
This little booklet has 100 questions separated into three categories: American Government, American History, and Integrated Civics. I like how each question has a succinct answer plus a little extra explanation on the answer. I actually applied to be US citizen a couple of months ago, so I will be studying this little booklet getting ready for my interview!
The study guide is very comprehensive with explanation in every single answer. It is small which makes it really portable and you can study/read everywhere at anytime. Highly recommended.
The answers are listed in bullet points, which makes it easier to remember. The study guide also provides a more detailed explanation for each answer, which makes it more interesting when studying. The book size is small enough to carry around so that you can learn anytime and anywhere you want. Highly recommend!
I recommend this book to everybody that needs to take the citizenship test. Very helpful, detailed and contains a lot of information.
Got this book as a way to help one of my friends study to get their citizenship since they wanted to be able to vote and become more involved with what's going on politically. This book made it easy to understand what they would need to know on the test. There were questions and then answers with explainations which I know helped them a lot.
